from completed build i9 ROG Skynet PC

Huge mobo. When the GPU was mounted in the 1st slot (I have no photos of) it completely covered the ROG eye on the mobo. So we put it in the 2nd slot. Bios was easy to use. No complaints other than that.

from completed build 10 Year Anniversary build

Pro: Solid build, Easy to Post, Very dummy to auto OC my i9 9900k to 4.8Ghz.

Con: Asus has the worst software I have ever seen. The Asus aura rgb software DOES NOT regconize this motherboard. I have tried reset windows/format c drive/reinstall aura/tried 3-5 different version of aura/used revo uninstaller to clean reinstall/ turn on/off rgb in bios.......still no fix... Do not buy it if you are looking for all rgb sync, asus aura is extremely buggy.

This MOBO looks so cool with the "armor" covering the body. Bulky and sleek looking too.

    from completed build Liquid Whiterogen

Great looking motherboard, wifi works pretty well, has an f_panel connector, and it is a very well constructed board. What more could you want? Bios even has an easy mode!

    from completed build Oracle α

Note: I could find very little about this board online, so for any wanton motherboard-seekers that want to know, YES the stripes light up across the board but they are not always spectacularly visible.

Frankly, I bought this board purely for its aesthetics vs. others in its class. It's probably the most elegant and understated of the Maximus XI line, but it has a perfectly good featureset and so far I've found its AI overclock quite effective, with a bit of tweaking.

However, I'm not sure I'd recommend the board from a purely performance standpoint vs. others in a similar price range. But it was enough for me!

from completed build 2019 Liquid Cooled PC

I love Asus, but they keep disappointing me with their MB LEDs, either they're nonexistent or not properly plugged in from the factory which I read is an issue with the board. Now fully assembled and on liquid, yeah I'm going to disassemble it to plug in a header underneath the rear I/O. The bios is very simple and easy to use. Not too many changes between now and 2013.
