After using my Logitech G710 with MX Blues for a few years, I decided it was time for a change. I wanted something a little more quiet and a little more responsive. Not a fan of Razer switches, MX Browns or MX Reds so I was having a difficult time finding something. Then I read about the MX Speed switches in this keyboard. I was skeptical but decided to just buy it and try it myself. Wow. Ok, first thing's first, these keys are sensitive. Very sensitive. Shortest actuation distance I've seen(1.2mm) so a light touch is all that's needed. I've definitely seen an increase in my typing speed(from 90WPM to over 110) and I feel I'm a bit more accurate now that I'm used to these keys. Now with gaming, this keyboard is definitely more comfortable because the switches are linear and smooth, I'm also able to strafe/juke much quicker too. I was in love by the end of the first day.
But...being a Corsair item...the software is a joke. It's not as buggy as Link, but it's still got issues. I ended up creating my own custom RGB profile that I'm pretty happy with, and I've seen others create some cool game specific profiles as well. I don't care as much about the RGB aspect, so it's still a 5 star keyboard to me, plus I got it on sale.

Good and a little expensive. Not an expert on keyboard switches. But this cherry mx speed is good I guess, especially in FPS gaming. That's my goal so I just get an expensive keyboard (from my perspective). K95 is better and more expensive with 6 more global control keys. I doubt I will use them so I did not spend extra money.

I have a Corsair Vengeance keyboard and she loved getting to use it, so she wanted one of her own with RGB.

I can't say enough about this keyboard, Amazing build quality. Great ergonomics. Useful feature set. Great feel. This is my first mechanical keyboard in years and I doubt I will ever go back. I know it is a lot to spend on a keyboard, but I have been really impressed. Highly recommended.

Great for typing, mine came with MX Cherry Reds, and the RGB is nice too :)

Pros: versatile and vivid led controller media controls are incredibly convenient beautiful construction Cons: cord is thick and stiff absolutely abysmal to clean, especially getting dust off of the aluminum mine seems to be a bit broken as a few leds will flash to red and stay that colour unless that key's lighting is updated (eg ripple effect, or anything non static)
