When you first buy a reference card, you'll hear the fan noise and wish you had gotten an aftermarket solution. Then as the months go by, you start to become oddly attached to your card and stop minding the noise and high temperatures. This is a solid card. Too bad the miners have ruined the market for them.

from completed build The Car battery amped up !!! :)
Works great for me and at 145 Watts power consumption this card runs cool though it can be quite noisy if you are really working it. 1080p gaming heaven with enough muscle to run all current games from high to ultra settings.

I need to say that this card for now one of the best for 1080p gaming !!

Fan gets annoying past 50% speed and the card runs fairly hot due to its bargain basement heatsink. Core OC is okay, but the memory can't overclock to save its life. The included back-plate and exclusive "Platinum" color scheme are a nice touch, however.

Awesome card! Im used to only having semi high end cards like 970 when the 900 series just came out, but this card really impressed me in every single way possible. With almost no airflow in the case (fans running 5v) the card sits at 77 degrees C while playing Forza Horizon 3, and is really quiet. Im super noise concerned, and im going nuts from the smallest noises, so i think i can say that it indeed is quiet. It performs on par (almost) with my 970 strix for like half the price i gave for mine a year ago. Great card, recommended.

I like this graphics card, but it isn't the best. Blower Style Fan, and easily could've gotten a better version. However, it is my own mistake for not doing the homework. It can easily play 1080P Ultra AAA games (for the most part). So no complaints there.

Best medium range card for 1080p gaming on very high, high or high-medium setting ( depending on the title)

Runs Witcher 3 max graphics 60fps at 70 temp load. If you want /need something more powerful then I would recommend upgrading. For the casual gamer or intermediate gamer who wants to run current games at 60fps on a budget get this card
