Great Motherboard, though i dont like the rather large obtrusive shroud does get in the way of large Air Coolers

Does everything I need it to do and the black Friday deal I got makes it even better.

Black/White, Usb 3.1 and 3.0, and plenty of fan headers that I'll never use. Also capable of using an M.2 SSD in the future. BIOS is easy to use. Overall it is a good MOBO.

Great motherboard at low price with a few nice features. BIOS is beautiful and easy to use. Manuals make everything a breeze and made building go faster. No complaints here.

This MB has been super reliable, even when I downgraded BIOS to an old version to allow me to hackintosh my build. Never had an issue with it, would recommend this as one of the best MBs for this price bracket.

Setup was relatively easy, didn't have any issues with board or software. Should allow us to upgrade in the future.

What other reviewers have mentioned about the cheap I/O shield are spot on - it provided about a minute of frustration before I was able to snap it properly into place. However after that the motherboard is great. Ran into some small issues trying to get it to recognize my Corsair DDR4-3200 RAM in XMP mode (it would run at 2133hz instead) - a Bios flash took care of the problem. For the price it's a great Mobo.

Great mobo! Easy to use BIOS, well placed pins. Oh & if you're gonna use M.2 instead of 2.5" SSD, just make sure to switch it in the BIOS or else windows won't be able to detect your SSD partition, but most of you probably already knew that lol.

from completed build My Modest 8th Grade First Build

Easy to assemble with, only had trouble with 1 slot, the reset button on the front panel. The guy at Micro Center recommended this over the regular Z-170A, I forget the difference, does anyone know?
