Silent. Pulls air like no one's business.

Eerily quiet. Literally, with my ear right next to two of them running, I could barely hear the air or motor. I don't know how that's possible. And at the same time they move tons of air. Great fan and Noctua lived up to the hype.

Two Noctua Redux fans with PMW have also been tuned in the BIOS to only spin when case temps rise above 45C under load. Even when spinning, these fans do a great job of remaining silent. They are gray and I wish they came in black! Maybe I'll paint them eventually?

These two Nocturas keep my build cool and quiet. Often when 80mm fans are in question, the noise can get annoying; but the NF-R8 Redux is silent at idle and very quiet under load.

I associate 80mm fans with Delta for some reason. Ie crazy loud. I can't hear this fan. It also keeps my hard drive cool just fine

Noctua makes some next level fans. They're quiet and move more air than my stock case fans - best CFM per db. Wires are sleeved well, and the packaging is simple but shows off your premium fan. Worth the price to me.

These little guys get the job done! Push plenty of air while staying quiet. What more could you ask for?

I wasn't sure if I needed these or not, but I picked up two to just add that little extra hot air removal. Initially had them sucking air in, but with the big fan in front of the case, it made a lot more sense to have them push out. They're sturdy, seem well made, and are as quiet as an 80mm fan can be, which is to say not super quiet when on load. Still though, they are good fans.
