Bought windows 7 but upgraded to windows 10 as I previously said. No issues with it apart from it enjoys making firefox crash a lot. No a clue why.

Old reliable, this was the cheapest option at the time of purchase between 7, 8.1 and 10, and as I plan on upgrading to 10 as soon as possible, this was the only real option.

Had some trouble with installing via USB stick but a trusty google search got me there in the end.

Kind of want 8.1, but I guess I'll wait for Win10 to come out.

It seems Microsoft gets a miss on one generation of Windows and then Hits with the next... after the Miss that was Windows Vista? Windows 7 is not only a hit... it hits a home run out of the ballpark. The multi-tasking of Vista combined with the single program performance of XP is a dream come true. The interface is built for speed and efficiency and it delivers on that front as well. Unless Windows 9 and beyond sparkles and shines? I don't currently see a reason I'd consider anything else for the time being.... I do also dabble in Linux, but it's still far from my main operating system... the lack of proper Multi-GPU support from both AMD and nVidia means it's fun to mess with, but lets me down as soon as I try and use my GPU's.

It's Windows 7, the dying OS that's better than Vista, worse than XP, and my favorite of all the Windows OS'es... soon I will have to upgrade to Windows 10 as my company is discontinuing support for their software on 7.

Old faithful. Reason I picked this over Windows 10 is because...... Backward ability? If i would have got with a window 10 from the start and I happen not to like it. Too bad i'm suck with it. This way I put on Window 7 first and i can upgrade for free! And I can always go back if I don't like what Window 10 has to offer! :)

Windows 7 was chosen as this rig's operating system due to its impressive and easy to use interface, and because it is a generally comfortable experience.

Not going to Windows 8 or 10 unless absolutely necessary Windows 7 is just a masterpiece has so many features and feels so sleek unlike 8/10. Windows 10 might be a lot better experience than 8, but I still don't have any desire to try. Unless alot of comments say it's REALLY good.
