"Like King Crimson, "It just works."
My review with RTX off: It's good.
My review with RTX on: This graphics processing unit is quite remarkable.
It doesn't run too hot and does what it's told to do.

The Quiet mode is superb! It blazes through every game at 1440p Ultra settings and looks like an absolute beast of a GPU.

Hefty card. Runs great, this card will never really ever get hot.

At first, I stay with the Quiet BIOS but it peaks 80°C with heavy load.. With Performance BIOS it stays around 65°C. Very nice looking.

Great performance and even though factory overclocked it still provides some headroom to push it even further (2085/7885MHz in my case) as it is an A-chip (binned). Great thermals. It's huge though, might not fit some cases when used with a front radiator. Fan noise is excellent, it rarely spins up over 40%. Then it is definitely audible though.
Only 4 stars because of the ROG-tax, performance per dollar is really not good.

Bought this card used for $700. I overpaid for sure but the card performs exactly how i want, the stock cooler is whisper quiet and it overclocks past 2 GHz without breaking a sweat.

Depending on the card, the fans can be a little noisy at higher RPM but the card stays relatively cool so it shouldn't need to ramp them up very high under load with decent case airflow. Mine stays under 60c. Card also looks great with the ROG backplate and LEDs. Works with ASUS Aura sync, although it seemed to just choose display whichever lighting profile it wanted to default to if I uninstalled the Aura service.

Mounting the GPU in the original way gives a better 7° C advantage.

This card is amazing and tears up anything I throw at it. I'm running all of my games which are all AAA titles at 150+ frames, 1440p Ultra settings. If you pick up an Asus gsync monitor as well, you won't be disappointed. Surprisingly quiet even at 100% load.
