Which is better older card running SLI or single new card?

My system currently has 1 Geforce 750 ti OC.

I was wondering would adding a second 750ti and run the config SLI is better or equal to swapping the current card for a Geforce 970 4gb OC?

i don't think the 750ti supports sli but 1 powerful card is always better than 2 less powerful ones. in a perfect world where every game support sli on day one with perfect scaling and no issues, sli would be preferred.

The GTX 750 Ti doesn't support SLI at all.

Thank you,

That saved me a lot of wasted time. Yes, 750ti is not SLI compatible. so I will just retire it to my kids computer.

Thank you both again.
