This AMD Build or Intel Build?

AMD: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Tahab_1/saved/8Vx9TW

Intel: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Tahab_1/saved/kMCD4D

They both have the same GPU, as I'm confident it'll be a pretty good one and will last very long, I also have overhead for Crossfire and Overclocking for certain hardware. The build is for editing and gaming; probably more editing.

What are your thoughts on it? And what GPU can I get for the Intel build instead of the r9 290? It has to be Nvidia btw

The 290 DCUII is not a very good cooler at all. It runs really hot, though it is quiet. There are much better options for your money. As for having to be nvidia on the intel build...why? AMD has much better value for money across the spectrum, and I haven't been suggesting nvidia cards to anyone for the last month (though I own 2 780 tis) because they're just not worth the premium.

That's really interesting; I may even change all my builds with the DCUII to the powercolor... Also; the RAM may be toooo high profile for my cooler, whis why I went for LP RAM

Yeah I've got that; but as you can see both builds cost around the same price; but I had to remove the SSD and I also had to remove the case which was more expensive...
