Graphics Card Cooler Swap. Is it a good idea?

So at the moment, I am stuck with an RX 580 from PowerColor that has a very small heatsink. This causes the card to run loud and hot for simple games. I also have a GTX 960 that isn't being used with a beefy MSi cooler on it. It appears the PCBs to be the same size, so would it be a smart idea to swap the coolers? https://www.newegg.com/powercolor-radeon-rx-580-axrx-580-8gbd5-3dhdv2-oc/p/N82E16814131720?Item=N82E16814131720 https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1133970-REG/msi_gtx_960_gaming_4g_geforce_gtx_960_gaming.html

I highly doubt it, as AMD and NVidia use different screw positioning, cutouts for VRMs, capacitors, etc.

What 2TK said.

If you do need an upgrade for the cards heatsink, you’ll have to buy something like this
