I know nothing about headphones, wireless or wired for audio or gaming. I mostly use my monitor and something my television.
Are wireless gaming headphones different from non-gaming headphones? Does it affect lag, response time, or anything like that?
I mainly need the wireless function for movies. I can always get a different set up for gaming later on, but if they can do both now even better. Also, I don't really need a mic, but if it comes with it why not. Must be closed-back to reduce noise. Trying to stay around $200.
I recently tried the "Sennheiser RS 185 RF Wireless Headphone System" https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TOT9G1W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and I had to return them because they kept cutting out or lagging or something. Also, they bleed out way too much noise; I guess it's because they are open-back. Lastly, they were very uncomfortable.
My picks so far:
