So when I first built the machine with which I am typing this with, a guy in my IT department had a spare win10 key lying around. He gave it to me on a piece of paper and I use it. When I activated Windows, I checked the product key using commands prompt and it showed up. Then I lost the piece of paper and needed to know the product key. So I tried again using command prompt and now its not showing up. Its encrypted or hidden cause im getting these black boxes. I tried using powershell as well. How would I obtain it if this is what happens?
