The SSD that costs probably more than your entire household

Why is it stupidly expensive? Its for $200 in amazon while its over 17k CAD here.

Their not enterprise SSD's they only come with a 3 year warranty, basically overpriced junk somebody thinks a sucker will buy it.

Probably the last existing [new old stock] part of that model. They are hoping that somebody will need exactly that part. If a contract calls for that SSD, getting it changed can easily cost >$17k (currency of your choice).

Or it is a mis-price, that's my real guess. Either way, nobody really cares about 280G SSDs anymore (unless something is very specific to a contract).

This build with Windows 10 added ($140) could be bought THREE times for the same price!!!

Newegg marketplace is a lot like ebay where people can post their own offers. Someone is offering to sell that cheap SSD for some stupid amount and I do not know what their motivation is. Totally dumb as no one will be dumb enough to buy that.

These are enterprise level SSDs, the kind of thing you use in a datacenter for reliability

Nope.

This SSD is designed for use in desktop and notebook computer workloads, and is not intended for Server environments.

It's just some 3rd party seller taking the piss.
