I know this may be already have been answered but I’m planning on building a pc so how would I reinstall it on my new pc. It’s on a ssd so I’ll install it on the new pc but what do I do next. Thanks, any help is appreciated. Also I’m not going to get help from window world, I already tried.

Depends on the Windows version in question.

If it is a full retail version of Windows,
Normal procedure is to just clean install everything.

If the Windows version is OEM, Microsoft OEM Software Licensing: Rules & Restrictions:

OEM Software may NOT be transferred to another machine. Even if the original laptop, PC or Server is no longer in use, or if the software is removed from the original hardware, OEM licenses are tied to the device on which the software is first installed...

You can check for yourself by reading your own MICROSOFT SOFTWARE LICENSE TERMS in your current system.

Where can you check the licensing terms at?

I asked the same question to Microsoft and they said its better to buy a new copy. I mean they have every reason to say that but they said there is no way to change what its registered to.

I figured out it is a Volume key so I should basically get a new key so what is the best place to get windows 10 at so I don't have to drop $100? Is this sketchy? https://nmccomputer.com/collections/computer-tablet/products/windows-10-pro-1-license

Yes.

What are some places for windows keys that aren’t sketchy?

Just buy it direct from Microsoft. There's not going to be a place for cheap that isn't "sketchy".

The sale of those keys violate Microsoft ToS, and the keys may be unexpectedly disabled. Recommending, suggesting, advising, encouraging, hinting, or in any way implying these keys as a solution or option is not allowed on this site.
