PC Upgrade (Budget 800-950$)

I want upgrade my old PC: (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2P48pG). I mainly use it to play games in 1080p and for my work. The only thing that i have selected is the case. I don't know what to keep and what is trash. I don't need OS, keyboard, monitor or a mice. I'll like an Intel and an AMD build to check the differences. My budget is 800-950$ and if possible i would like it to be from Amazon (or at least the majority of the components).

This is the build I would create for you. basically all I kept was the HD... I selected Amazon and NewEgg as those are the places I buy my hardware from most of the time. I added a PSU and a M.2 drive since your budget allowed it. Those two items are not necessary but you will want the speed of the drive to boot from and a new PSU doesn't hurt either.

I would actually recommend seeing if there are any used GTX 1070 graphics cards in your area before getting an RX 580. Where I live you can get a GTX 1070 for $200 used which would be a steal. I wouldn't recommend getting an Intel build at this price point as the price to performance different will be way worse than anything a Ryzen 5 2600X can offer. I would also say the only part worth salvaging is the hard drive or maybe case from your current build. It's definitely sellable though and you could probably get like $150-$200 for it
