I need a high-end gaming PC under $2K

Cytracx

  • Budget: $2000 ($2200 max)
  • Location: US
  • Use (gaming, rendering, etc): AAA Gaming, Esports Gaming, Recording Games
  • Peripherals required (monitor, keyboard/mouse, etc): Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor (144hz) Speakers?
  • Operating System required: No

I'm not super educated with PC parts so I'm looking for advice from the pros. Thanks! I don't really care about RGB, just performance.

You didn't specify the resolution so I am assuming 1080p atm. Intel will give you the highest frames, AMD will give you best bang for buck.

I am not an expert on peripherals, I just selected a mechanical keyboard with some form of brown switches and a number pad. If you want a mechanical keyboard, I'd recommend trying out different switch types at a local retailer to see what you like. I chose a highly rated mouse under $30. Headphones are what I use personally and are great.

In terms of monitor I choose a freesync panel that works with gsync and 144Hz.

I already have headphones, they also just so happen to be the same ones you have in that build. I meant like actual speakers. Thanks though!

Go to a local store like best buy then and see what they got. Anything with two speakers, a sub, and a control works well. Something like this

Ah, will have to check it out next time I go. Thanks!
