Installing W 10 without junk.

With a fresh install of windows 10, home or pro, it comes with bunch of crap. Xbox apps, stupid games, etc.
Is there anyway to install without them?

Unless you want to download a server / enterprise variant of windows, no.

You have to do it by hand.

Short answer: No.

Long answer: No, but you can get rid of/eliminate/mitigate a lot of the less desirable bits. Stuff you can do includes:

  • Powershell commands to remove a lot of the built in apps and the provisioning for said apps

  • Change privacy settings

  • Remove the MS Store or turn off it's automatic updating

  • Turn off suggested apps

  • PCDecrapifier

!Warning, the following can cause issues. Use at your own risk.!

  • Use an automated program to tweak settings and block access to Microsoft telemetry servers

  • Manually block Microsoft telemetry server traffic using your preferred method
