Hey guys! Ive been a PC player for a while now and Ive always wanted to play on a high end machine. Ive saved up enough cash for me to buy a pc. The budget is 3000 australian dollars and i want a GTX 1080TI and a i7 maximum. Im not willing to spend more cash on a cpu and a gpu. I also want a open tower case. Any is fine for me. Thanks !

Does the budget include:

  • a display?

  • other peripherals (mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc)?

  • Operating System?

The GTX 1080 TI is still an absolutely fantastic gaming card but with limited availability it does ask for a pretty hefty price tag. You want to target the newer RTX 2080 (1080 TI equivalent) with some added features and GDDR6 VRAM.

Yeah, It requires a Display and an operating system and just a keyboard. For my Display, I'd like something with 144 refresh rate. I'd like my GPU to be something that'll run fortnite and GTA V and other high-end games such as wildlands and rust

I put in an operating system but no monitor, keyboard, ect I don't know if you wanted these things. https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/pcKnxG (I also went Ryzen but you can change that to intel if you want.)

I like the fact that you added an RTX 2080 that is one hell of a card and It will definitely get me to point A to B when playing high-end games
