Recently I decided to build my gaming PC after buying one was too expensive and didn't seem to cut it. I am relatively new to PC building and I consider myself to be more of a mechanical guy than a tech guy. I came up with this list of parts that I will use and checked it's compatibility (the keyboard and mouse I have and I chose windows 10 home as an OS. I'll deal with monitors later). I plan to use this for casual gaming and daily use. I'm looking for a computer setup that can run Minecraft at an acceptable performance for the time being and games like Fortnite and Apex Legends at good ratings. I chose these parts based on price and how good the reviews were. Will this build be able to meet my needs and run rather reliably?

lower price but way better performance - 2200g should be about the same performance as the i3 -16gb of ram and faster speed - bigger ssd and still nvme also mobo has a heatsink to help with temps - rx 570 runs circles around 1050 - case is kind of subjective but has mesh and an extra fan to help keep temps down

You could also get a Ryzen 5 for a similar amount of money, which outperforms the CPU both in your list and Peanut’s list

The thing is I would like to interchange cpus. Can the Ryzen 5 or 3 be interchangeable with a better performing processor? Also is this a simple change in the CPU or a whole list redo?

  • The Ryzen 5 is probably the best all-rounder chip you’re able to get now. I probably wouldn’t change anything else

  • It’s sort of a redo of your list, but in a good way.

Also will the parts last? I'm not looking for a beefier build but one that will last. And are the parts compatible in every way? That's all.
