So there was a bit of water spilled on the floor and i didnt realized it was there, i put over it my alienware m17x charger, and i realized it got wet when i plugged it in my pc (luckily it was turned off) and it started to make a low almost unhearable buzzing sound so i check the box and its not soaking wet but it was a bit humid, you could see it was wet but not dripping, the cord was mainly what got wet, right now i have the charger in a plastic bag with some rice around it.

How long should i wait before i take the charger out ?

Is there any way i can make sure that there is no damage to the charger before i try to use it again ? ( I know i can use a voltage measure device but instead of buying that i would just buy another charger and end of story. )

Any suggestion and help is appreciated.

The only way to be 100% sure that charger isn't damaged is to open it.
