I have an i5 6600k unlocked and a spare white NZXT H500 that I can use, i want a white themed build around $1000 or lower, i would like to have a monitor, mouse, and keyboard but they arent NEEDED, ive already got a list and want to see if there are better options.

On the CPU cooler I have no experience with liquid cooled, is it pretty straight forward to install and use?

Yes. It's an all-in-one liquid cooler (AIO) meaning that it's a closed loop. So, there is no maintenance required. You just install the radiator where case fans would go and install the cold plate onto the CPU. Should come with thermal paste pre-applied but I'm not sure so you may consider buying a small tube just in case.
