Building a PC for a friend and they have a budget of £600
I have a part list but is unsure that the parts chosen are the best option.
looking for the best possible gaming performance for only £600 and that includes keyboard, monitor, windows 10 and networking card in the budget
This is my current part list
I would tell him he needs 100 bucks more to get decent performance. You have slow memory and a poor quality power supply. the case also just comes with one fan not the 3 pictured.

As others may say, you can get a significant step up in performance for only £50 more. I would say save a little extra, bribe, get a parental loan what ever just to gain an extra £50 at least, the step up in performance is to be honest considerable. I have pulled together a build with decent 1080p GPU, light years ahead of the GT 1050, a freesync monitor (smooth gaming), a single stick of ram (allows space to upgrade) and the 2200g if not using the iGPU, has only one ccx (core unit) so not as susceptible to bandwidth starvation thus needing 2 sticks from off. Decent ventilated case, aesthetics should go out window for a complete system at this price point. Also added an SSD to set foundations for system responsiveness, no slow down during system updates (which you'll get using a HDD) with room to add a larger capacity drive for more games and files in future. Things to think about. If you have any questions happy to help.
