Gaming PC: $1200 Budget

ToasterOven54

Budget: $1200 (max $1400)

Location: USA

Use: Gaming

Peripherals required: 1 Monitor

Operating System Required: Windows 10

Today my computer broke completely so I am getting a new one. My friends urged me to build my own since I have never built one before. My main use is really for gaming. Mostly the games I play on it are League of Legends and GTAV. I play some other games but not high intensity ones. I don’t really care about astetics at all just want something that works and I can upgrade in the future. Thanks in advance if you make me a build.

I put this list together in like 10 minutes so there was little research that went into this build. 60+ on high settings. Got the red theme going... Hope this meets your needs!!! (I'm not my any means an experienced PC person, I just have some knowledge) :)

You can get better performance with the radeon 590 for less money by about 20$ The 1060 has no real use imo for the cost of the 580 and 590. You can get more performance for less. Also the nzxt 500 does not come stock with front intake fans and only comes with some on the aer version. You will need to pick out fans to put in yourself or you will choke ur system.

This should be a really good performer although I didn't put in a 144hz monitor since you said you don't play games that are super intense, the PC should be more than able to push 144fps at 1080p. You can get an ok overclock on the i5.

This is a very decent gaming system for stock settings, with a little overhead for overclocking.

Or if high FPS is your preference, then the RTX 2060 gets released tomorrow, which will pair nicely with the 144hz display.
