Hey guys, I'm trying to make a build that will be able to stream and play most games such as League of Legends, CS:GO, PUBG, and Fortnite. At the moment my budget is around 1500$ but a little over is fine. I already have a mouse, keyboard, headset, and one monitor. My current monitor is a 27" 1080p 60hz ASUS. I would prefer if you guys could factor in the pricing of the monitor into the budget but if not possible I could buy it at a later time. I am more focused on the build first and extras later. For pricing I am in the US

TL;DR: 1500$ Budget, Streaming/Gaming, Need second Monitor (Can get later)

Hi, out of interest do you want the second monitor for your stream or to be a new primary gaming display?

Either or is fine, I'm not really an elitist when it comes to the whole 1440p 144hz thing. 60hz and 1080p is fine for me.

Sorry forgot to ask do you need an operating system bundled as well?

Grimrath submitter 1 point 1 month ago

No, I already have a copy of windows ready to go. Thank you though for asking :)

Ok, this is a very capable build for gaming at 1080p and 60hz, with secondary streaming display. The rtx 2060 gets released next Tuesday 15th and is close to same performance as a gtx 1070ti but cheaper.

You have some money left over if you want to update any peripherals. Or provide additional CPU clock overhead with a after market cooler.

You can use the 144hz monitor to game on and you won't be having any issues. I would recommend using your current monitor as a secondary to read chat and do other things :>
