https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Bigballer69pcbuild/saved/PL8Bbv I’ve never built a pc before so I’m asking if it’s gonna fit in the case well or for any opinions

Looks fine to me. I've read grumblings about the Asus Z390 motherboards (sub-par power delivery) and you might want to look at one of the Gigabyte offerings in Z390 before you buy.

Could definitely squeeze more performance out of the budget if you wanted to fine tune.

  • That cooler is ridiculously overpriced. I've replaced it with a good air cooler which will be quieter and perform pretty much the same as the liquid cooler performance wise.
  • Slightly cheaper RAM. The slight reduction in speed will really only be noticeable in benchmarks.
  • Cheaper and better motherboard. There's a lot of info on the new Asus boards being pretty mediocre (mostly to do with the sub-par power delivery as kschendel mentioned)
  • Slightly cheaper SSD (no loss in performance)
  • Bumped to an RTX 2080.
  • The G2 PSU is a great price right now, and is a very solid unit.
