Hey all, I’m looking at building my first PC and have no clue where to even start. It’s gonna be a gaming computer. My budget is sitting around $3000 since i have no peripherals, but less than that is just fine. Also I’m in the US.

So you said you have no periferals so you need A mouse, A keyboard, A monitor, Speakers, Headphones, ... Could you specify?

Do you need an OS?

What will the build be used for?

Color scheme/theme in mind?

In short i need mouse, keyboard, monitor, headphones, and an OS. It’ll mostly be used for gaming, RPGs, and if i had to choose, red for the color scheme.

This is probably overkill in every way but this is an incredible build. Will crush any and all. There's some extras that I tossed in like the RGB fans, 1440P 144hz monitor and an AIO. You could build a system for 1500 that will do just fine with 1080p gaming but if you the best of the best and utilize that entire budget, here you go. Includes OS, keyboard, mouse and a 1440p 144hz monitor. All of it is pretty much top of the line.

If you want cheaper then change the CPU to the i5-8600K and GPU to the GTX 1070 Ti or 1080 and the monitor could be changed to 1440p. This is a good price for 4K IPS and I think you should have specs like this when spending so much. I've been 4K IPS gaming a lot recently and it's amazing. I have the Asus MX27UC though.

There is a black/red version of the H700i. I think the black version looks the best with the red being on other parts.
