My First Build - Opinions/Advice

First off, thanks for reading this thread. I am currently saving up to about $1000 to build this PC. As of now, I have two options that I'm thinking about pursuing. Please leave positive feedback!

Colorway: Black/Gold/White Purpose: Medium - Heavy Gaming , Progamming, Music. OC? : Yessir

The only major difference is the Video Card. If you have any suggestions to make the build cheaper, I'm all ears!

He's right and also I have the same case you wand and the hard drive is not visible, it goes below the window where the PSU is located.

the gigabyte is better and faster and worth the extra 20 dollars. EVGA cheats you on VRAM by only giving you 3.6 and not 4

You're right, is there any way I can get the build to a cheaper amount while still keeping the Aesthetics clean. Also I already have the RAM (Christmas Gift)

you can get a blue HHD instead of a black, thats 20 dollars and you can save like 30 dollars on you power supply id you want. I personally have a bronze rated power supply and it hasn't failed me yet and my build is very similar to yours.

Thing is, I would love for my power supply to be Fully-Modular just in case I want to get clean white cables. Also I'll look into that HHD as long as it doesn't ruin the colorway of the build.

Check out these HDD's, for only slightly more money you can have 2-3 times more storage.

2TB - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seagate-internal-hard-drive-st2000dm001

3TB - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seagate-internal-hard-drive-st3000dm001

Less money in the case of the 2TB!

One thing though: Is seagate trusted? Heard a lot of shenanigans about them.

Seagate is a great brand and those two drives in particular are rated very high.
