Help with display setup?

My graphics card is the R9 270 ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131545 ). I have two monitors already hooked up to it via DVI, and everything works perfectly. I furthermore connected my TV to my GPU via HDMI whilst the other two displays are still connected and the TV I guess is not recognizing it. The TV works with my PC via HDMI because I have used it before, so that isn't the problem (capability). My PC sort of recognizes it, here is what it looks like. https://gyazo.com/c77955996faf817da34852a81ea221d3 Monitors 2 and 3 are my monitors, and 1 is my TV. When I try to extend the desktop to the TV, here is what pops up. https://gyazo.com/591164eb55d67663de1da1c1f2667357 Anyone know what to do? Is there a limit to the amount of displays my GPU supports?

Edit: Got the adapter, plugged it in and it still does not recognize the third display, same exact problem as before. I noticed there was a driver update for the GPU so I downloaded and installed, once again, doesn't work. I figured maybe it's my TV, but I took the HDMI from the adapter and hooked it up to my monitor, and it just went to a black screen. It is still recognized as active, yet it is just black. Help?

I went and looked up the R9270/ 270x and it states that it can run up to 6 displays. My guess is that you only had one or no monitors before when you had the TV working. Often times when using more than 2 displays you need to use an "ACTIVE" connection through the display port on your card.

Here is one on Amazon

Why not read the manual

I hope this helps

Thanks for the comment. I did a little reading into the manual and it seems that only two displays can be running when not using the display port (i.e. two dvi) just like you stated. I'm going to order an adapter from somewhere and hope that fixes the issue, thanks for your help!
