My graphics card is the R9 270 ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131545 ). I have two monitors already hooked up to it via DVI, and everything works perfectly. I furthermore connected my TV to my GPU via HDMI whilst the other two displays are still connected and the TV I guess is not recognizing it. The TV works with my PC via HDMI because I have used it before, so that isn't the problem (capability). My PC sort of recognizes it, here is what it looks like. https://gyazo.com/c77955996faf817da34852a81ea221d3 Monitors 2 and 3 are my monitors, and 1 is my TV. When I try to extend the desktop to the TV, here is what pops up. https://gyazo.com/591164eb55d67663de1da1c1f2667357 Anyone know what to do? Is there a limit to the amount of displays my GPU supports?
Edit: Got the adapter, plugged it in and it still does not recognize the third display, same exact problem as before. I noticed there was a driver update for the GPU so I downloaded and installed, once again, doesn't work. I figured maybe it's my TV, but I took the HDMI from the adapter and hooked it up to my monitor, and it just went to a black screen. It is still recognized as active, yet it is just black. Help?
