Hey guys,

So I have the nzxt phantom 410 case and I need some advice regarding my side fan. Here's my set up:

  • Intake:

  • I have 2 x 120mm fans as intake in the front

  • 1 x 120mm fan as intake at the bottom from the PSU (EVGA 1000 P2)

  • Exhaust:

  • I have 2 x 120mm fans at the top as exhaust from the water cooling (Corsair H100i GTX)

  • 1 x 120mm fan as exhaust at the rear (top)

So my question is:

I have a side panel that can support a fan. Should I use it? Should it be exhaust? Intake?

Thanks a lot!

You have no need for side panel fans. Don't even bother.

As tiny voices said, it's really not necessary, but if you want to keep your pc cooler more intake can't hurt. Also if you just want more aesthetics by using an led fan. Use the side one as intake, but make sure you use a filter on it. That way you limit dust bunnies in your computer. All intakes should have a dust filter on them

Ok thanks guys, yeah it was also for aesthetics using a red led fan, yet the side doesn't have a filter on it, so i'll see maybe i'll just leave it as is. Thanks again !
