FreeNAS Storage Drive Question?? About only using two drives.

Is using two Western Digital Red Pro 6TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drives in ZFS Mirror mode good enough for a home media server? If one would fail I would still have the other as back up to be use to rewrite a new replacement drive in mirror mode right?

I'm asking this because the case that I want to use the Corsair 250D only has two 3.5 bays.

This is the NAS build I'm planning to build. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/DCqcnQ

Yes, the mirror mode will basically create two copies of everything. If one drive fails, you still have all your data.

That cpu cooler is too weak, its rated for a max of 65w tdp, that xeon is 88w tdp.

Dude it'll be fine your acting like I'm using a AMD FX-9590 8-Core overclocked to 5.5GHz or something.

But in the small chance you are right I will just buy a Cooler Master GeminII M4 CPU Cooler and replace the stock fan with a Noctua NF-F12 industrialPPC-3000 PWM 120mm Fan.
