Use the pc for gaming, will be upgrading the graphics card, because on ultra settings things get a bit sketchy, 4.6 ghz overclock causes glitches. so staying at 4.5ghz comments welcome

Part Reviews

Beast of a processor, very happy with it

sata ports are glitchy, sometimes won't recognise hard drives, maybe its the hard drives , who knows

My last name is kingston.... never had any bad ram before, expect this to last a while

Nice case, pretty large for the price, and its corsair so that's pretty good.

Power Supply

Had a few cheap and nasty power supplys before so this was a bit of an investment. Inspired me to build the PC.

Looks beautiful.

Have you fixed the problem with the Mobil sata ports and is the PC stable

bradeh999 submitter 1 Build 1 point 18 months ago

Yes. Used a different ssd from kingston

If you're thinking about upgrading the card, try looking at the GTX 750 ti, I don't know what game you're running on ultra, but 750 ti is a very reliable low budget card in my opinion of course xD. The price is like $120-140 ish

Thnaks for your advice i have looked at it, but i feel that the 970 is more future proof for games coming out in the next 3 years or so

Oh yeah definitely man! I didn't know how much you were going to go with the budget, very good pick :D

bradeh999 submitter 1 Build 1 point 22 months ago

I've ordered 2 250gb ssd for raid 1, and a 4tb drive for steam library, I'll add them to the build when its completed

awesome, I would buy separate 1TB HDDs in case of mechanical failures, but of course the preference is yours as long as you keep it nice and safe :)

Yeah I'd maybe correct that before it starts attracting more attention.
