Mainly for some gaming, CAD-drawing, ...
Update: Thanks for all comments. I've just savaged 2 more 750GB HDDs.
Mai God that cable management
Congrats on your first build !!
I don't know if a hyper-threading processor would have been a better choice for CAD use whether or not a FirePro or Quadro would have been a better choice (can be expensive I know) but for starters can you rotate the PSU to pull air in from the bottom? This way all the PSU wires will be at the back of the case and then you may be able to conceal many wires behind the right side of the case. This will help with cable management, air flow and temps.
Nice but you could find a 1tb wd caviar blue (at 7200 rpm) for less than $60.
everything is great, except for the keyboard, just no...
Thats a nice desk....
No it isnt
Things that I'd change
1. I could get a 2TB seagate barracuda in that price here http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seagate-internal-hard-drive-st2000dm001
2. Fix that cable management. SNAKES IN THE TOWER!!!!
These aren't to sound cool or harsh.
But just to help you in the future.
Did that case not come with cable routing holes
The monitors in the pics don't look like the monitors in your parts list. What are they?
He de-bezeled them I guess.
Interesting. I've never seen that.
People do this to be able to get the monitors closer together. Imagine a CAD with thick bezels running through the drawing, highly annoying!
More pics of the actual computer? Case etc. would be good
Nice build. I know the shinobi has like no cable management options, but there could be better ways to clean up the cables for better airflow.
