I was watching the Pauls Hardware on the YouTube. I saw where he was selling off his inventory and he had one of the gigabyte G1.Sniper with the neon green accents. I remember when these came out a few years ago, but i never got one. I picked it up on ebay and add a few more parts and voila, little nicki was born. I am using this to rip movies mostly, but i really like the power i get from that xeon chip, so fast and runs very cool with the cooler. Anyway i like the green theme and happy how it turned out.

Part Reviews

Cant overclock this chip, but at the price it is still a quad-core beast.

CPU Cooler

why its number 1, i swaped the fan for a corsair SP120. just for the green color, Easy to install the cooler and hottest this thing gets is 50 C and that is more that good

The inspiration for the build from Pauls Hardware. Works great, has SLI if i need and been a very good looking, solid mobo.

Its memory with green LED. Enough said

Had these on the shelf, fast and lots of space for a boot device. love the low latency

Video Card

A little older but so am i, most the games i play, this card can play without the fans turning on. Very happy and heck its green. Found this on ebay, been very happy, great multi-monitor performance.

Not the smallest case, but a struggle with parts to get it all in here. Pretty case, i didnt cut my fingers so there is that. I love the upside down and all and all im pretty pleased with how it turned out.

Power Supply

hate the 24 pin is mustard and ketchup, but good clean power and its white. Modular in this case is a must, as my fingers barely fit in the thing.

I didn't think people would actually buy/rent physical copies nowadays. But a Xeon chip can surely do some compressing/rendering when done with the ripping.
