Description

GPU IS NOT STABLE FOR NOW, SOMETIMES IT TURNS TO BLACK SCREEN WHILE IN-GAME. CPU IS RUNNING JUST FINE WITH DEFAULT CLOCK RATE.

09/17/19: Radeon 19.8.1 is now pretty stable with No NZXT, MSI Dragon or ICUE running background.

I had the exact same issue you describe with my 5700 XT. I found two solutions that more or less solve the issue.

Solution #1: Run games that have issues in Windowed mode. Windowed Fullscreen did not have the issue for me in most games, either. True fullscreen would only work in about 50% of games properly.

Solution #2 (the better solution): Do a clean uninstall of your graphics driver, and then install 19.9.1 or later. I have had no issues with 19.9.1 after I did a clean install of it. DO NOT UPDATE, CLEAN INSTALL. I had ridiculous crashing issues when I updated instead of clean installing. So again, CLEAN INSTALL ONLY!

Hope this helps!

I have a Sapphire RX 5700 XT and got it within 1st month of release. ran fine for a few hours but I noticed I had terrible stability issues in only a couple games, namely Assassin's Creed Odyssey. It was one of the 19.7.X drivers

I too ALWAYS "updated" drivers and coming from an RX 580 all I did was update again when installing a new GPU.

After I uninstalled everything related to AMD Radeon software and drivers, and reinstalled the SAME EXACT DRIVERS, which I think would have been 19.8.1 at that point (I kept updating hoping to see better stability). All my issues went away just by doing a clean install of the same set of drivers and software. This is sound advice! I will never "update" again....always going to clean install new drivers going forward

Agree! I did a clean install with 19.9.2 driver. Turning off NZXT CAM and Corsair ICUE while in-game. I also keep them disable enhanced sync and VSR.

Just curious if you have any issues with thermals at all as far as the case? I really like this case and I only do 1080p gaming so I wouldn't be running any op hardware (currently on R5 1600 + 1060 6gb). Case is overkill for me but I love the look of it.

Just bought my own h510, did you're come with the rgb fans in front? As far as I can tell, mines only coming with the exhaust fan, and I didn't order any extras lol. First build so less fans means less wiring which means I'm not as stressed. Opted for a NVMe m.2 instead of a regular SSD/hdd combo like everyone recommends, because again, wires = stress lmao. Just curious if I should just grab a couple extra fans for the front of the case.
