Description

I built my first pc about 7 years ago with medium range parts and have since owned a couple of retail bought pcs/laptops. I have only just gotten good enough internet to be able to stream so i have finally built a machine that has some guts to it! (And looks beautiful!)

Upgrading from my asus rog laptop (i7 7700, gtx 1060)

The prices are not all accurate, was about to buy from pccasegear and thought i would check ebay, only to find ebay was having a 20% off sale and found more then half the parts cheaper through this.. spent about $3500 all up (already have peripherals, wifi card, etc.)

Started off looking at the corsair coolers and 'budget parts', ended up going all out and happy i did!

Was an easy build due to the nzxt case being an extremely high quality product with everything fitting perfectly and using included cable management, not a massive rgb guy i like the look of white lighting, the nzxt app controls the cpu cooler and case rgb and the gigabyte app controls the mboard rgb, gc and ram lighting

Have tested this on pubg on my 144hz gsync monitor and completely maxed out settings i rarely dip below 130 fps

Could have got better/more ram.. i love gold and i havn't seen many builds with the trident royal ram

Runs superrr silent (haven't tested while streaming pubg just yet), i needed heaps of usbs for my midi controller, interface etc (i make beats on fl studio also - handles this brilliantly)

So far so good!

Originally was running with fans on silent profile setting and temps were high/ almost stuttering because of this, now i run all fans on performance (not much louder anyway) and temps stay at a safe temp all the time now with smooth performance!
