Description
This is an entry level gaming PC for my brother. He is currently using a laptop with an older i5 CPU and a Nvidia 840m GPU in it, so this will be a noticeable upgrade for him. It's been frustrating not being able to play a lot of the more modern and demanding titles together since his laptop just simply does not have the hardware capable of handling them. Also, he will finally be able to enjoy the games he loves, like Overwatch, League of Legends, and the Witcher 3, in graphical fidelity higher than the muddy medium and low settings (with low frame rate) he is currently playing at.
I benchmarked this PC using Heaven and Rome Total War 2. A benchmark on Heaven using high settings and 4x Anisotropic filtering yielded an average framerate of 59. The Rome Total War benchmark on high settings yielded an average framerate of over 130.
I love the look of the blue light emanating from the front and top of the otherwise dark and opaque case. It gives it a curious and slightly ominous look in the dark that also manages to be low key and easy on the eyes at night.
I can't wait to see his face.
