This is my first build, and I'm alright with harsh comments if you so desire to type them up. Just getting that out of the way. Now, onto the description.
Blue Angel. Where did it get the name? It got the name from the color scheme (Blue) and because it saved me from my P.O.S previous rig, an HP Pavilion P6230Y with a GTX 750 TI stuffed in. Build process wasn't horrific in any way. It was quick and easy. Then I got crazy about the cable management and it took two days to complete. I think it turned out well, and the cable management was worth it.
Now your all probably wondering why I didn't just keep the computer I had and built one when I got a new GPU? The reason I didn't do that was because I wanted a rig that was future-proof and the CPU in my old rig was actually bottlenecking the 750 TI. It may sound crazy, but its true. I'm getting on average about 30 more FPS on games like TF2 and ****. I couldn't believe it was bottlenecking a little GPU like the 750 TI myself, but it did.
Also, I found I was a dumbass buying the XLR8 SSD, because it most likely will crash in a few months. I don't care anyway, because so long as PNY fufills the warranty policy then I'll just sell it and buy an 850-EVO. Foolproof so long as PNY aren't lying backstabbers. Also, sometime later this year I plan on getting a Gigabyte GTX 960 with 4GB to ensure I'll almost never have to upgrade again. Heck, maybe I can do multi-monitor in the future instead of this Dell monitor, which I do love, but I need something better. Anyway, that's the end of it, so comment what you think, critique, and... Yeah that's about it. So do that and enjoy your day.
Beautifully efficient processor. The only reason I don't give it five stars is due to no overclocking potential.
Great board, just cant hit the reset button or else apparently it locks up. I don't want to try
Works well, speeding fast, but from what I've read it will crash in 3-8 months. Also it's oddly laggy and freezes upon first few downloads. Unknown if this is common or not.
Great case, great value, plenty of ventilation, and everything else you could ask for on a budget case. Nothing can beat it.
Great airflow with little noise. Looks great too
