Bought a 1060 for an older system a year ago, and was looking to upgrade everything else.
I think i personally would have spent $10 extra for 3200 Mhz memory, as Ryzen greatly benefits from it. Other than that looks good.
Second gen Ryzen doesn't benefit from faster ram as much anymore. First gen Ryzen was all about that, but it doesn't affect Ryzen 2 as much.
hey im interested in what cables you used from the psu to the mobo and graphics card. going to be using the same board soon. any more photos ?
I just used the cables that came with the PSU, everything I needed was packaged with it
that's cool, so a 24 pin for the mobo, and... ? is it 2 or 3 cables from the PSU ? interested cos im trying to get my cable mods ahead of time. same psu as you and will get the same board.
IIRC I had 3 sata , 2 gpu cables, and 1 Mobo cable. All the cables were labelled. The Motherboard itself also came with a few sata cables. I didn't end up using all of them.
cheers for the info
Nice build. Are you going to upgrade the graphics card?
Planning on it, mostly likely next year tho
Yeah. Wait for mining to stop
Hi there, what are the fans on the Meshify C like? Im soon buying it and pondering whether to get silentwings instead or not.. Thanks
They work well enough for me, I'm not doing any kind of Overclocking so the stock fans are good enough, I did however install another fractal design fan on the front of the case.
Why did you get the Ryzen 7 2700x? The i5 8600k is better for gaming and also it's cheaper.
because he/she wanted ryzen
