CPU at 4.4 GHz 1.25V Stable, had problems with h100i v2 install so pulled a 212 evo out of a box.
1060 LED I will be painting red pretty soon, then I will put MOBO LEDs on Red aswell, I just like the literal RGB for now.
Are you gonna overclock and what is the pro and cons of the mobo.
I will be overclocking once I get some new mounting hardware for the h100i.
The Mobo is really nice, bios are easy to use and pretty user friendly, had to xmp ram but that's no problem. Windows had to be re-verified, but not that big of a deal. LEDs look nice and feels really solid. All around no problems yet.
CPU is now Clocked at 4.4 Stable with 1.26 V. Haven't tested much with Voltage yet, Fan keeps me at 50-55 C under Full load in Cinebench. I'll post more when I mess with Voltages to see how I fared in the Silicon Lottery, the 4.4 it's at is a default preset for now.
nice build, add more pics
and how's the on-board wifi?
Thanks! I'll add more pics when I get the chance, hopefully tonight. To my knowledge there is no onboard wifi, I use Ethernet.
More pics now :)
Just curious, how loud is the GTX 1060 FE when you're not gaming?
Not too bad, with 2headphones on its not heard, maybe a bit liuder but I don't worry much about that
Lookin good. +1
I'm planning on using this motherboard for a Kaby Lake upgrade and was going to use a Corsair AIO water cooler as well. What was the problem you were/are having with the h100i v2?
It wasn't the cooler itself, the bracket for mounting stripped, the mobo is a bit thin for the bracket, but washers fix it
OK great news, thanks for the reply.
With washers installed, the cooler went in just fine, I sit at 4.8GHz with 1.31 Volts easily under 60 degrees max load. Great cooler just needed a few washers. Hope this helps!
I got mine direct from nvidia, which i wouldn't reccomend, buy it on ebay for cheaper
