Description

After a 9 year hiatus from the hardware modding scene(Xbox, PC, playstation, etc), I've decided to refuel that passion with my 2017 gaming rig project. As of right now, I am just getting my feet wet again with customization without modding. So stay tuned!

Missed opportunity: get a sticker saying "in case of emergency, break glass"

How else can you protect yourself if that gun is locked inside your pc?

In due time haha. That's the idea behind it. In case of emergency, break glass and protect PC at all cost.

Even without custom cables, the build is still really nice. Like the build!

+1 for the retainers. I had braces for 6 years and I have to wear mine every night, the struggle is real.

Hi, did you have any issues installing the GPU?

I ask as I have a similar build (same mobo, CPU, OS) but with an MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming x and my computer won't launch with the graphics card in. everything seems to boot up (fans/lights) but nothing on screen, works fine with it out.

Yes. Do you have power connected to it? Sorry. gotta ask lol

So how quiet are those NZXT fans?

They do have some noise to them during load, but overall are nice and quiet.

Do yours rattle/vibrate when under load? I've had trouble with two different sets of the AER RGB fans mounted up top like you have yours. Above like 50-60% they start to rattle, then after that it's ridiculous :/

Sorry just saw this. I had one that rattled, so I RMA'd it. No issues since.

I am specing out a build with the same motherboard and NZXT fan. Are the cables coming off the pump block one of the RAM slots? I saw a video where it did on a different motherboard.

Looks great!

Sorry for late reply. It looks like it would be cutting in close but at the same time, it looks like it will fit. If you want, I can test for you.

Hey wicked build! :D

Just wondering if you've had any problems with those 140mm fans up top? I've been through 2 sets now because they seem to rattle over 50%-60%, above that it's really bad :(

Yea I just had to replace one. I recently bought the grid+ v3 from nzxt and it's helped. With temp control software, the fans are only running when needed.

Nice build, how are the Logitech speakers. They looked pretty dope and I was going to get them, but how are they for you?

The lighting is nice and the screen sample feature is is cool when gaming or watching movies. They sound nice, but I mainly use my headphones. Overall I say worth it if you have other logitech devices to sync rbgs with.

Also how is the keyboard, been looking into getting that exact model but it doesn't seem worth the price, and it seems really small.

It is actually my first mechanical keyboard, so I don't have anything to compare to, but I personally love. Mine have blue switches btw.
