Description

This is my Current build. I upgraded it late last year with 2x 980 ti and x99 and 6800k. It's a beast. It runs my games at 1440 on ultra. Not many games can tax it enough to knock it below 60 fps. With my 144hz swift games are buttery smooth and they look amazing.

I'm ready for another upgrade now.... but I usually like to wait every other generation. For instance I will be picking up the "1180 ti" or 2 of them rather. I use this machine primarily for gaming.. but I dabble with a bit of 3d modeling with Zbrush and Maya. Also I'm working on my own pet project in Unity just for fun. I also encode videos sometimes when I upload to YouTube. The 6800k handles it like a champ. Also, my renders that I do of my models they run almost in real time with Keyshot. You couldn't ask for a better CPU in this price range. But Ryzen has shown some serious gumption. I may have to jump ship back to AMD when the time for the next upgrade comes around.

A bit later this year I plan on building my own custom water loop. I have put it off because they require alot of maintenance. Also an extra expense buying new waterblocks when you upgrade GPU. Depending on what you get.

6 terabytes WITHOUT the external storage. No clue why you would need that much but okay! Great build by the way!
