Description

I've been wanting to build a PC for several years now but have always had something come up. I've been into PC gaming since the 90's but have never built a computer. The only computers I have had have all been laptops. All were very capable of gaming but none were what I would consider "gaming" laptops so I was very excited to finally build a PC.

I, like many that have come before me, mulled over what I wanted versus what was practical. After I did that I went into overkill mode. I think I did pretty good on the prices all things considering. I did a good bit of shopping around and ended up getting everything I wanted. I entered all prices to reflect what I actually paid but did not include rebates such as Ebates because I haven't actually received them yet.

It being my first build I was pleasantly surprised it booted up on the first try. I enjoyed putting everything together and running the cables. The S340 Elite makes cable management a breeze. I have a few other things I want to add like better case fans and at least a 1 TB HDD but for now I am satisfied.

Thanks for checking out my build.

I like it a lot. All of the slots like the PCIe are solid. The 1080 is pretty heavy and I have no sagging. Bios is nice. Only real complaint is the mystic lighting/leds. I have tried to get all lights the same color but I find it impossible. There are also red leds around the RAM and i/o shield but it doesn't bother me too much.
