Description

This is the first PC build I have ever done. Previously my PC was a Dell with an R9 270, an Intel i7-4790, and 16 GB of DDR2 RAM. This is a huge upgrade and I am very happy with it. I will use it primarily for games such as PUBG, Apex Legends, CSGO, and Black Ops 4. Have not bought a new monitor yet and I am using a TV currently. This is a great build so far and I can’t wait to buy a new monitor. If you have recommendations for a monitor, please tell me in the comments. (The beautiful corgo licking the case box is Etta.)

Part Reviews

CPU

Really great CPU. Wish i’d bought it when it got really cheap, though. Right now it has more value than ever.

CPU Cooler

Gets a little loud, but the performance is solid.

Motherboard

This board looks and works fantastic. If you don’t have enough for a Crosshair this is the next best thing.

Memory

This RAM is awesome. Would recommend it to anyone but on ryzen I would buy the 3600 MHz version.

Storage

This thing broke in about 1-2 months. I do not recommend it.

Storage

Great drive, but for some reason it won’t let me partition about 700 GB, which might not be its problem so i’ll leave it at 5 stars for now.

Video Card

This card looks fantastic and destroys most games at 1440p.

Case

Not my first choice for a case. It was hard to build in, cable management was awful, and the cables weren’t long enough. It looks good at first, but it doesn’t look as good after you’ve had it for a while.

Power Supply

Work great and does what’s advertised. I have no complaints.

Yes, the corgo is the most important part.

for 1080p 144hz the benq xl2411p or xl2536
or 240hz benq
1440p has more options since IPS/VA curve/non-curve is more prevalent there
but either LG 34GK950 is a good choice. one's gsync, the other one's freesync2

Hello bro!

Really nice build but i have a questions . i heard that som rams have too much height and they could be in the way of the radiator so it won't sit on the top. I bought the same rams and have the h100i rgb plantium liquid cooler, and the same case, did you face any problems ? are the rams sitting too tight that could be hurting the motherboard or is everything fine ? Thanks in advance!

No problems at all, but if the radiator is top-mounted. The ram will be covered a little.

How were you able to manage the different brands of ARGB lighting. Do you have a way of syncing it? The fact that your Mobo/Graphics Card, Liquidcooler/case, and Memory are run by 3 different brands would lead me to think they can't change in sync.
