Description

NOTES I can't find the Carbide Air 540 white + Gtx 980ti hof in the parts list so I just picked similar parts to replace them. Since I am dissembling this build tomorrow I decided to post it up here for memories, I will be rebuilding another rig with hopes to exceed the performance of this one in two weeks.

Firstly I decided that this build was mainly going to be an Black & White Monochromatic theme, this makes the Galax 980ti hof the only option at them time because it was pure white and silver and I loved the looks of the big heat sinks. The card held up really and I havent had any problems so far.

The ram is an overkill.... it costed the same as my cpu but there is something I really like about the clean and luxurious looks of the dom. plats. (we don't need to talk about performance here...). The ram and the m.2 will pretty much be the only thing that remains the same on my new rig.

The Mobo, I never connected with this Mobo, I felt the Bios was clunky and lacks features.

The M.2 is sort of what nudged me to pull the trigger, the gaming 5p board (for some odd reason) does not support gen.3 x4 M.2 so I am not getting any where near the speeds I am supposed to out of the SSD.

I will be posting the setup of my new rig in about 1 month.

Thanks for your time. Nugohszz.

Looks awesome, try turning off the LEDs on the motherboard though. Also add the Galax Graphics Cards as custom parts.

Quite beautiful. I feel there are not enough pics. More pics. Please.

Also, I would suggest getting an EVGA SLI bridge, just to make it even more aesthetically pleasing.

Why do you only have 4 sticks of RAM... You should be utilizing Quad channel with 8/slots for an 88 not 416 it would be find if it had only 4 DIMM slots but you have 8...

does the m.2 ssd overheat since it's sandwiched between the 2 graphics cards?

Hi, I recently bought the same case! And it looks awesome! But when I started building my PC I got stuck installing the Corsair H100i V2 above the motherboard. It is a really tight fit and the screws don't seem to match my CPU Cooler.

Would you be so kind to explain to me how you got this to work? It would really help me out a lot and I will finaly be able to finish my build.

Cheers
