Hello, This is the story of Kahm Tench, my first custom PC. I had a lot of PCs in my life, so after a few months saving some money I decided to build my own system. All the parts with the price tag were bought on valentines weekend rebates here in Portugal. Tech related stores in Portugal made some serious discounts and I took the chance. It's not the most high end system in the world but it is pretty much a beast for what I need - LoL, GTA V, CS:GO, coding and store all my stuff.
The build was finished in the last days of February, although I'm still adding some parts, like the storage, sleeved cables, LEDs etc.
It was a great experience for me as it was my first time building a pc and everything posted at first attempt.
Great OC potential. Skylake power is great and nice power efficiency.
Does its job incredibly well. I was very skeptical about WCooling CPU premade systems, but this one proved me wrong. Keeps the CPU very cool even in heavy loads with the 6600k @4,5.
The case is a beauty to look at, but it's completely a struggle to work on. Everything is very tight, and not much of room for freedom in cable management. The mobo is very much covered by the H100 which makes it very difficult to plug/unplug stuff in the top side of the case (CPU power, case fans, CPU fan etc.). The back of the case is very tight too, and HDD rack does not leave you with the greatest space for SATA and power cables. When you take your time to make everything neat and tight you have a great looking case with great airflow.
