JackTheRipper is the gaming/productivity PC from Techsource
Timelapse video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ctpaj9DhChw //
Hope you guys like the build <3
There better be a half-life 3 announcement with this post!
Nice machine and cable management is amazing in that case! Love your videos Ed :) I'm using your vids to start build my own computer
That's what I think is good for $650 gaming
very good part list for 640 dollars. but if you could spare an extra 50-60 bucks then I would recommend an i3-8100 4core/4thread processor because it is clocked higher at 3.7ghz and has better ipc than the 1200 and better single core performance. but other than that I would not change a thing on it except maybe trying to find similarly priced parts that adhere to a single color scheme.
here is a link to a part list to look over for you.
the additional cost is tied to the extra cost of the z370 board because the pin layout has changed and only z370 is compatible with coffee-lake processors.
Eh... I'd wait until the H or B series motherboards come out for under $100.
Super clean. Kinda reminds me of a KTM chassis.
Beat Jay to the chase!
I always do
Nice! This thing must be a beast of a computer!
:) no problem.
Great build aaaandd another awesome vid ;) +1
Just awesome. Great job JailBreak! +1 )
Really nice! I love the orange and black color scheme. Calling a feature!
I don't have enough words to describe this build, but I will say this is spot on with the color scheme and how it all comes together. Absolutely amazing and looks like a work of art. You've taken my one and have my support.
Very beautiful beast possible for you to put benchmarks +1
“$5000 ULTIMATE THREADRIPPER PC BUILD”
looks at total cost
You sir just lied.
Dude,, bro,,, This is amazing. There literally nothing I would change about this case (possibly the CPU cooler, but if it stays cool, keep it". You nailed it
Not sure what to say about it that hasn't been said by you. So I guess, great build, great videos, and +1!
nice build but loud.... i got a 1080 ti sc in my core p3 and its so damn loud and hot
Love the use of that amazon cable rail in a build. +1
haha thx :D
Another awesome build!
I also built with the Conquer, such a cool case!
Epic build !
You have my up vote sir
The real question is, can it run Crysis at low settings?
Its my boy Techsource
edd you didn't notice me senpai! :( psst how would you rate my build? https://pcpartpicker.com/b/TXfH99
SENPAI NOTICED ME!!!
That case.... WOW
Superb build - very nice photography too. Well done.
Damn nice bud! I love the touch of detail placed on the cable management, and color coordination. It's certainly a thumb up for me!
BEST COMPUTER ON PCPP!
nice job Ed! much love from Croatia!
But can it run Pac-Man?
But why a 1,000w PSU?
AWESOME build with UGLY monitor !!
Amazing Build Keep it up man. Amazing video BTW :)
I watch your YouTube channel nice build and btw you don't live that far from me
how do you sleep at night knowing you have an sli bridge with the amd logo on it?
Well i came in my pants when i saw this build
what was your average power draw for the system?
stock voltages it is running
most i heard can only get 2666 or 2933MHz for the RAM
were you able to get 3200MHz?
any complains about the board?
will we see OC results?
i saw the other Treadripper builds and most complain the CPU install was the hardest to install
was that really hard?
I don’t know how to can even game on this, I’d never stop staring at it!
That is a slick looking setup. Great color matching.
How is the cooler master cooler holding up? Just wondering how it performs because I will probably be using it with a 7700k if it is good.
Amazing system, OP. Just a heads up: I don't think you listed the correct cooler on the part list. From the pictures, it looks like the routing tubes for the cooler are a different consistency than the Cooler Master MasterLiquid Lite. The "Lite" model has tubes that are plastic, not braided mesh.
Very nice job with the custom cables and the cable management, especially tough with such an "open" case as yours. Top Marks!
this isn't ed or he would have pictures that weren't in the video
Boy it sucks that the ryzen logo looks like a ****** coffee stain.
i orange too
That. Cable. Management. Is. EPIC!!!
Great build, great YouTuber. Believe me, it's hard to find any TechSource fans on this platform.
Oh... Hello there, Ed.
Luv ya vids btw
Where’d you get the sleeving for the cooler ?
mmmmmmm... Can I have please? :)
That case is so sexy! I was looking at that and the Core P5. The Core P5 won only because I loved the grid-like structure. Your setup is giving me buyers remorse xD
Really great build ed! love it!!! 1+!!! :D
I saw your videos, photos, part list and description. +1 anyday!
But that build hasn't a "gaming friendly hardware". SLI and threadripper: sure you have outstanding performance on gaming, even on high graphical preset, but not the best of the best. Of course, i recognise that this build was also made to be an workstation PC, so congrats! ☺
How is it not the best of the best? This is far from a low end PC.
lmao this guy just straight up copied TechSource or it is techsource
it is techsource lol
I copied myself.
Somebodys been watching too much jayzTwoCents lol
I dont watch his videos actually.
whhaaaaattttt? yt beef incoming? xD
It seemes funny since he did a similar build using the same case and components, only his is fully watercooled
this guy is techsource....
And that matters why?
because he didnt have to watch jayztwocents to buy/build in this case cause he got sent it the same time. so he isnt inspired by him.
My first comment was a joke to begin with. I'm subscribed to both channels, and am just humorously pointing out that he did a very similar build to Jay. You don't gotta defend one YouTube on artistic integrity just cause you got a boner for the guy. Lighten up.
i dont have a boner for that guy but it wasnt as obvious as you might think that it was a joke. And the build isnt that similar
umm it's ryzen threadripper 1950x
Lol sorry, it was sarcasm. It was supposed to be a joke, why am I so bad at this. :(
Thanks for the guide... I guess?
