Description

After being burned by a Pre-build machine, i saved up for a year and got the confidence to build a my own PC.

It came out really well!

Dude why didn't you take me shopping with you? I told you to take me when you get your parts! J/k

I am thinking about getting the s340 elite and the kraken! how do you like them!!?

S340, although looking really nice has terrible airflow, if airflow isn't a concern it is a decent case, id recommend the meshify c though.

I Have the meshify c and i have a AIO cooler in the front, problem is my gpu literally hits the rad, and i only have a shorter 1060 in it, which means i can't upgrade. So i'm looking to get something a little bigger.

yeah meshify c just needs 5mm more room for gpu so you can fit a 320mm just saying S340 only supports 240mm for front, and it will be starved of air

Nice build, it must have been fun rolling that cart up to the checkout! I'd probably feel too guilty to buy that much in person, but I'd spend that much online without a second thought for some reason. I guess those Microcenter deals are as good as the legends say.

One question, did you swap out the GPU after the pictures were taken? You have a 1080 Ti SC in the parts list but a 1080 FTW2 in the photos. Either way, I imagine they run a dream at 165 Hz!

Got to love living near microcenter!

I think it is better to use 4K screen with this setup, because as far as i know Ryzen doesn't get along well with high refresh rate. Just my two cent tho. Still a great build overall...

Any problem with the ram and the motherboard looking to build something similar

Yeah I was wondering the exact same thing. Im looking to get the Trident z RGB in a 2x8GB kit but I've heard that some people are having troubles getting the ram to work. Also that ram is not on the QVL for the motherboard. Any thoughts?
