Description

First build - made for raging in dota and grinding wow.

When building this I really put a lot of effort into the aesthetics as i really wanted to utilise the tempered glass case - and i like things to look pretty.

This obsession covered everything from white parts to colour modding.

I spray painted in white the following:

Monitor stand and bezel, Computer case - including fan grill, legs, screws, io, and rear PCI covers. SD edges (red originally)

For the CPU cooler which I couldn't colour match - I swapped the brown Noctua fan for a thicker grey Noctua fan to match the colour scheme.

I also coated the inside of the case in glitter and glue to recreate crystal formations - and spray painted clear lacquer several times to seal it.

Its a simple student build that performs phenomenally for what its needed for.

This build actually costs more in the realm of £700 - as majority of the parts were brought on sale or through staff discount.

In the future I may upgrade the components but for now its unneeded for my use. :)

--Update: Fixed incorrect RAM entry, 16GB not 64GB. Sorry! :P

One of the cleanest white builds I've ever seen! The execution is on-point, well done!

I really love the looks but damn... Only an i3, H270 chipset and an RX460?

That's not what I'm saying. All the money went towards looks.

Can’t say it doesn’t look good

Can't say it either but performance wise it's not that great.

Its exactly what I need performance wise :) And yes a lot of focus was placed on the aesthetics due to the tempered glass case, this was never meant to be a performance build; I did build this as a student. Side note: I can always upgrade parts if and when I need too, but I don't think there is any point in buying high end parts if you aren't going to use them to their full potential. Plus i think it would be a lot harder to start colour coordinating a completed build x amount of time later than finding upgrades that fit the theme.

An i3 and RX 460. Nice little budget build, lots of potential for upgrades. But why 64gb of ram? Doesn't make much sense to have that much ram in this build.

Yeah sorry i corrected that now, 16 GB :P

nice build! Personally I think you should have cut the ram a bit and gotten a better cpu.

I was mistaken, 16 not 64 GB, didn't check what i selected, but thank you :)
