Description

Hello guys. This is my last build. money did not matter and i build it as i wanted. I will use this for gaming, photoshop, autocad and steaming.... I know that there are better rigs out there but what the heck, This is what i wanted :) please let me know you comments and improvements if any.

Thanks a lot :)))

Part Reviews

CPU

I love this CPU a lot.great L2 and L3 cache and it is very fast. makes autocad a worthless prog. :) and i think i will need the multi thread cores for future proofe. and it makes easy the multi tasking too

CPU Cooler

I dont know why anybody wont buy one of this...but i can asure you that the seidon 120V is the best...never had a heat problem with the 125W of the FX-8350 and the temp never exceded the 61C i swear. this item is under-rated.... its not worth to buy a NZXT kraken x61....it will do the same as the seidon. THIS IS FOR SURE

Motherboard

This is for me the great part of the PC. love this mobo. got everything needed and support up to 64GB of ram(not that i need it) but is great and has a lots of pretty much everything. usb port ect ect..

Memory

Love what the crucial has done with the ballistix sport XT. great heat disipation and very fast. never had a problem. and i have tested them very often and they dont get to heat very much. i think this kind of ram is the best. and i added 4x4GB 1600mhz because of the multitasking and cause i will need them for autocad and foto ediding. and of coure in he same time steaming ang a looot of gaming :))) just wanted to make sure that THE KILLER had enough :)

Storage

I can say only that this is the best out there ;) fast, very fast...i have my OS here and only the actual game that i play until i finished it :)

Storage

this is a normal storage for films, music, pic, works, stored games and stuff like that

Video Card

maybe it is a little old someone will say...but this is so powerfull and so fast. it has never let me down and i play EVERY game ALL FULL ULTRA.

Case

i love the colours and i must say it was sooo easy with the cable managements

Power Supply

this is a super power supply. i know its overkill for this kind of rig. because the max watt of this build is 502W. but i wantet it for later on. for any further upgrades. maybe a crossfire wi the 280X or i have in plan to buy the R9 295X2 still from sapphire. thats why :)

I just want to say GREAT. Is more than enough to all the futures you described. The most important is to be proud and having fun with it. Congratulations! 1 Vote :-)

DiakonFrost submitter 1 Build 2 points 27 months ago

thank you very much :) this is more important i think. to make myselfe better :) thnx again :)

What games do you play... and what kind of performance can you expect from your system?

DiakonFrost submitter 1 Build 2 points 27 months ago

i play all of the games. i mean i dont have an exact kind of game but what i like i do play it. for example this last weeks i have played: battlefield4, GTA V, COD advanced warfare, COD black ops 2, Batman arkham knight, dying light... emmm this i can remmember. and all of those i played in ultra full options. and no prob at all. not even in temps or in gliches or something. all smooth :)

what do you ment when u say what can i expect from my rig?? well i expect not to have lag. and i expect fastenesss :) and i expect to open everything that i want without lowing the speed. and i have tested it..i have open 4 games in ultra, and both steam and autocad(working) chrome and everything...and was all normal....fasttttt :)

dccorreia 1 Build 2 points 27 months ago

the same as my pc https://pcpartpicker.com/b/ZctJ7P

Spent yesterday 2hours playing Sniper Elite 3 in ultra. Temperatures don't go above 49ºC (CPU) or 38ºC(MB), playing in ULTRA all the games you described. That performance annoy any Intel fan :-)

DiakonFrost submitter 1 Build 3 points 27 months ago

ahahha yeah....but u can understand me when i say that the seidon is GREAT. its worthles to buy a kraken. it will do the same job. temps?? NO PROB ;) :)

dccorreia 1 Build 1 point 27 months ago

I think is the balance of all elements. From case to fans, cooler, the air flow...everything counts, i mean everything. I heard a few weeks ago someone told about some singular differences between same CPU's from factory. It's the same when you buy a car. A BMW 135i is not equal with another BMW 135i. :-)

DiakonFrost submitter 1 Build 2 points 27 months ago

ahahha good examples. i LOVE BMW...i have got 3 so fare...and i will never change that loool anyways...yes every think counts....of course the air flow should be very very good....because even the leds i have they generate heat. i will add another intake fan :)

boss1234100 1 Build 1 point 27 months ago

is there a a reason why you put the radiator in the front?

DiakonFrost submitter 1 Build 1 point 27 months ago

the radiator (i forgot to mention) is with a push-pull config. and i put it up. its not in the front. in the front of the case there are the three stock fans of the nzxt h440

boss1234100 1 Build 1 point 27 months ago

oh

DiakonFrost submitter 1 Build 1 point 27 months ago

the 5th pic. its taken from the up side of the rig. because in the nzxt h440 case you can open all the three sides of the case exept the back. :)

boss1234100 1 Build 1 point 27 months ago

oh i thought you had it install on the front fans of the nzxt h440

DiakonFrost submitter 1 Build 1 point 27 months ago

yeah it looks like that in the first view. its a little confusing :) anyway...what do you think?

Why the Tri-X over the Vapor-X f price wasn't a concern for this build?

DiakonFrost submitter 1 Build 1 point 27 months ago

well i dunno...i liked the colors and the tri fans. well dont get it for wrong...but this tri toxis is really powerfull. maybe u should try it in real world. benchmarks i dont like them so much :) i want to try

coolguy562 2 Builds 1 point 27 months ago

Yes it is powerful and i have nothing against your decision but I'm just saying that the vapor-x also has 3 fans, runs cooler which in turn would allow you to oc more and get even more power out of it, especially if price wasn't a concern with this build. But awesome build nonetheless, have fun with it. With that nice case I'd also recommend getting some LED strips and sleeved cables to jazz it up.

DiakonFrost submitter 1 Build 1 point 27 months ago

well i dont know....i thought it was better...anyways im preparing myselfe to buy the r9 295x2 as i told you before....and for the case is indeed a great one only has a little problem with the air flow but i will put another intake fan and thats all...its not so bad. i did put some red leds....up and down and one near dhe back big fan. about the cables they are okay anyways...because in front there are les cables to shown and in the back u cant look at them anyway + its a big work to put them again from the begining.....im a lazy one :)))

thank you :)))))

DiakonFrost submitter 1 Build 1 point 27 months ago

well and if you see the specs of both of them:

toxic: http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/product_index.aspx?pid=2023&lid=1

vapor-x: http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/product_index.aspx?pid=2131&lid=1

the toxic is more powerfull in some places :))

Memo1010 1 point 27 months ago

Why is it your last build? I mean its perfectly possible you wont build a PC ever again but in a few years when this slows down you may build a new one or at least upgrade it.

DiakonFrost submitter 1 Build 1 point 27 months ago

no i meant that this is the last one...because i have done many for my own. and this is the last that i have done :))

Memo1010 2 points 27 months ago

ok that makes more sense

DiakonFrost submitter 1 Build 1 point 27 months ago

ahhah i could never dream of not building any more a rig... :)) thnx anyway :))))

fuadhossain09 1 point 20 months ago

hello i have the same case but white and black and i also have the same motherboard. And i was wondering where did you put the cord for power button lights because mine dont light up. f you could take a picture or something, that would be great.

robowarrior300 1 point 15 months ago

worked for over a year now and i haven't even thought about backing up my system
