Description

Well I always wanted to build my own PC for a very long time. Looking at all the overkill extreme PC's on here and on YouTube. So I had a set budget and a vision to create a powerful but minimalistic PC. Keeping looks clean and just simple not tooo much RGB :) but just a little. So I set off doing some research as I had a Intel Xeon E5-2670 to hand. This is a 8 core processor running at 2.6 Ghz. Yes I know this isn't as powerful as some I7's but I set a challenge to use this in my PC. This led me to a long time finding compatible motherboards for X79 LGA2011 and I finally found one which I think is perfect ! GIGABYTE GA-X79-UD3 supports this XEON so it was perfect , not only that it had 4 x PCIe X16 slots. Since I kept the budget down on these parts I was able to find a EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 GAMING on eBay for a great price. All i can say is hands down this Build met my goals. Everything is a breeze , really powerfull at everything. Playing CS GO is absoltley amazing ! I havent even overclocked anything as i think the power from this is perfect.

Hi Vycyous !

X79 Xeon builds are great ! Unfortuntley as Xeons are more enterprise CPU's than mainstream , they are usually locked. Including mine , however you can get some factory high GHz CPU's at a resonable price from eBay. The motherboard you are using supports : E5-2687W @ 3.1 Ghz ( 3.80 GHz Turbo ) and E5-2690 @ 2.90 Ghz ( 3.80 GHz turbo ! ) To be honest i play CS GO on my rig and i get an average of 258 FPS ! For the price i got my Xeon it is worth it !
